‘Get Started in Homeopathy’ – an introductory workshop

Next Workshop Dublin April 2012

Next Workshop Cork June 2012

Next Workshop Galway September 2012

We regularly run introductory workshops in Homeopathy entitled ‘Get Started in Homeopathy’ at our venue in Milltown Park in Ranelagh, Brú Columbanus, Wilton, Cork and The Maldron Hotel, Oranmore, Galway. These workshops are designed for the general public who have an interest in health and wish to understand how Homeopathy works and how to select and administer the remedies safely and competently. This is a beginners course which is suitable for the total novice who has never used a homeopathic remedy and the more learned individual who has been reading and researching about the subject on their own.

We also recommend that students wishing to enroll on our professional training course should do an introductory workshop in homeopathy. Many of our graduates also facilitate these type of educational workshops in their local areas. The workshop not only introduces students to the principles of classical homeopathy, it is also an introduction to the School itself. For many of our graduates attendance at the workshop confirmed their decision to pursue homeopathy as a career.

These workshops are held at regular weekend intervals and because homeopathy works by treating the whole person rather than the symptoms of the illness, it fits in well with today’s healthy lifestyles. The remedies can be used to aid most minor ailments and conditions and can be used by adults and children of all ages. The beauty of Homeopathy is its potential for empowerment – it puts you in control of your own health, as it is based on the principle that the body is self-healing. At the end of this workshop you will have a sound knowledge of at least 20 commonly used remedies, and feel confident to self-prescribe, while mindful of your own limitations as a non-practitioner. The course is interactive and student participation is encouraged at all times. There will be plenty of opportunity to put newly acquired skills to use, with lots of case-taking activities.

The workshop aims to equip you with the tools and confidence to prescribe safely for yourself and your loved ones. ‘Get Started in Homeopathy’ is a one day workshop from 10am to 5pm and will approach the subject both from a philosophical and a practical point of view.

The fee is €70 (early bird rate €50).
