Irish School of Homoeopathy Student Clinic
What is the student clinic?
The clinic at the Irish School of Homoeopathy is run by students. It is an excellent, affordable way to get homeopathic treatment supervised by a licensed, registered homeopath and is open at weekends between September and May from 10am to 4pm.
Who can attend?
Anyone can, homeopathy is suitable for all kinds of ailments, allergies and health issues.
What happens at the first appointment?
You will be met by a student just before your appointment time. As all clinic cases are videotaped you will be asked to sign a consent form. Your case is completely confidential and it will not be discussed outside of the clinic.
During the consultation one student takes your case with two other students and the supervisor are present to observe. The rest of the class watch the consultation via video link.
After your appointment, the class will discuss your case with the supervisor. The student who took your case will contact you to give you the remedy and to arrange your follow-up appointment.
Should I bring anything with me?
You should bring details of your medical history plus any information relevant to your situation. This may include details of illnesses you have had; names and dosages of any medications you are currently taking; vaccinations you have had and family medical history.
How much will it cost?
The first visit costs €30 which includes the consultation, which usually lasts for about one hour, and the remedy. Follow-up visits cost €20 and usually last about thirty minutes. If you have special circumstances, we can greatly reduce the fee.
How can I contact the clinic?
Your consulation will take place at a time convenient to you and arranged in advance. Please ring the clinic co-ordinator for an appointment. See dates in the table opposite.
