Homeopathy and Nutrition Short Course – 6 Weekends commences February 2012 in Dublin: Cork Short course commences November 2011
The first weekend of this short course is essential in laying the groundwork in homeopathy philosophy, methodology and acute practice; and understanding the homeopathic view of health and disease; it is very similar but one day is all to short for the amount of information you need for safe and competent acute prescribing – therefore we developed the short course in response to participants requests. The 6 weekends will expand further on acute home prescribing for men and women’s health, children’s health, first-aid remedies and seasonal acute remedies. We will also introduce you to a nutrition module and guide you through nutrition from its basic science through to a holistic approach to nutrition in modern day living. All the major food groups, minerals/vitamins and nutrients are explored with their functions, sources & imbalances. We will explore and discuss the important factors which maintain or contribute to a state of disease and how these causes of ill health are connected to our nutrition, lifestyle and environment. We will give you guidelines on how to redress imbalances in our diet and lifestyle due to toxins in our food and environment and choices. You will also be introduced to constitutional treatment and constitutional remedies in homeopathy which boosts the immune system and reduces susceptibility to disease. Master classes in case-taking and repertory work are essential elements in this course. This is a very practical, informative and enjoyable course which will benefit you and your loved ones. Suitable as an introduction to homeopathy or a follow-up to our 1 day workshops €40 refund if you have attended a workshop. If you wish to provisionally book for this short course please email the office.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require further information regarding homeopathy and our courses or our patient clinic.
